At Sudesha, we ensure that all students are provided with equal opportunities based on
principles of equity and social justice. Our curriculum is age-appropriate and tailored to
match each student’s cognitive ability. It is classified into pre-primary (playgroup to
upper kindergarten), basic level (class one to eight), and secondary (class nine and
ten), following the government’s guidelines. We ensure that students master all the
defined objectives before moving on to the next level.
The evaluation process varies based on the level of study. Pre-primary and primary
level students are assessed using the Continuous Assessment System (CAS), with no
terminal exams. Students in class six and seven are evaluated based on 50% CAS and
50% terminal exams, while class eight evaluation follows the BLE guidelines with
practical marks based on CAS. For class nine and ten, we follow the guidelines of the
SEE examination, with practical marks based on CAS.
We have access to modern teaching and communication technology, including ICT and
digital resources. We also ensure that only digitally literate instructors and facilitators
are appointed. Sudesha collaborates with various organizations, including Quest Nepal,
Karkhana, Debate Network Nepal, Wild Conservation Nepal (WCN), Friends of Zoo
(FOZ), and Youth Thinkers Society, to ensure practical application of students’ skills.
Our broad, balanced, and appropriate curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of our
students, with interventions to attain annual targets. We promote a culture of reading
and reflection, regularly discussing literature from various sources. Sudesha
encourages students to connect their learning with the community through social
service-based activities and campaigns.
